danST Engineering are pleased to be able to offer rolling road tuning services for a wide variety of modified vehicles. Specifically:
Bike carb conversions
Individual Throttle Body Conversions
Forced Induction (Zetec Turbo, MX5 Turbo among others)
Using our 2wd rolling road, equipped with high end data aquisition hardware and software (https://www.dynomitedynamometer.com/) we are able accurately control the load and speed and perform the following:
Steady state and sweep Air to Fuel ratio monitoring
Steady state and sweep ignition timing checks, adjustments and mapping (if applicable)
Carburettor re-jetting, air corrector adjustments and needle adjustments
Power runs & graphing
An additional service unique to danST Engineering is our ability to optimise induction length whilst on the dyno using our adjustable velocity stack kit (suits many of the popular bike carb types). This process allows us to fine tune the length for torque and power before final manufacture of a bespoke set of stacks tailored to your engine requirements. This service eliminates the guess work associated with trumpet length (or the costly process of buying several lengths for trialing during a dyno session in the hope that you find the most suitable one).
Getting here: Our facility is based in Shipley, West Yorkshire (BD17 7AP) near Bradford and within easy reach of the M62, M1 and A1 Motorways. We look forward to your visit!
NOTE: Rolling road tuning services are charged per hour as at the price shown. For a typical bike carb set-up expect 3 hours assuming the car is running on arrival. Please contact us with your exact requirements prior to purchasing. Troubleshooting, electrical checks and diagnosis of underlying faults will significantly increase the time spent and thus it is advised that the vehicle is presented in good condition, checked over and fully fueled. This will ensure that we only spend time on the important part (tuning!).
Vehicles are run at the owners risk. No liability will be accepted for failures resulting from lack of basic maintenance or failure modes attributed to components outside our scope.
Please also visit our facebook page where you will find postings of many of our latest dyno run graphs as well as many examples of our products and customer cars.
