Mazda MX5 mk3 NC 2.5 Individual Throttle Body Kit 48mm, Eunos danST STARTER PACK

danST Engineering are pleased to be able to offer this complete bolt on kit for the Mazda mk3 NC MX5 1.8 & 2.0 Duratec engine. The package consists of the following:

1x TIG welded danST Engineering Aluminium inlet Manifold

1x Set of tapered ZX10R 44mm Throttle Bodies (complete with TPS - see attachments tab for our wiring guide)

1x danST Engineering Fitting Kit (4x Fluoro lined silicone hoses and 8x stainless mikalor clamps) in red, blue or black

1x Heavy Duty 1mm Novus Gasket

CNC Machined danST Aluminium Trumpet Kit

1 x Pipercross PX500 Air Filter and Backplate Kit

Options:

4 x 440cc Bosch EV14 Injectors. These are a direct replacement for the standard injectors on the Duratec 2.0 and use the same USCAR (EV14) style plugs. We recommend upgrading from the standard 2.0 injectors on well tuned engines aiming for over 200bhp.

This kit is ideal for anyone with an 1800cc or 2000cc MX5 NC looking to further boost the power and torque output.Below is a short video showing a recently converted example on our in-house rolling road. This car produced 155bhp as standard and went on to gain 30bhp with our ITB kit and ME442 ECU combination:

The manifold is manufactured from high quality aluminium with a precision Water Jet cut 10mm thick flange and TIG welded runners with a 3mm thick wall. All internal joints are fully ported/ground to ensure a smooth flow. The standard Duratec Fuel rail can be retained and thus your fuel system remains unchanged.

The throttle pedal will require adapting to be cable operation - this is a relatively simple procedure and we can provide details/help on this aspect as required.  An ECU remap will be required (or purchase our plug and play ME442 ECU for this car here). If the ME442 is purchased from ourselves then we can provide an excellent basemap to get you started. 

This kit can be run on the stock fuel system without modification. 

NOTE! This kit is for RHD vehicles only - for LHD please contact us. 

Kits can be customised to your requirements (eg delete the filter should you wish to utilise another solution).

Please Note: All of our throttle body kits are made to order and therefore on a 10 working day lead time. This is to allow the manufacture of the manifold and preparation of the throttle bodies.
