We have been manufacturing inlet manifolds for bike carburettors and throttle bodies for several years and as such our business has built up around this unique product. We offer a huge number of variations of inlet manifold design to cater for the differing carburettors, throttle bodies and engine types. We use the power of parametric 3D CAD models to quickly generate patterns and drawings – thus reducing costly fabrication time. Scale layout drawings from these models can also be supplied to customers to aid in checking clearances in tight engine bay spaces, ensuring our products fit first time. All manifolds are fabricated in aluminium, fully TIG welded and finally ported internally to ensure smooth flow in the cylinder head. As well as our popular bike carburettor and throttle body manifolds we also offer a comprehensive range of 'DCOE' style manifolds for the mounting of Weber/Dellorto carburettors as well as Jenvey/AT Power throttle bodies.
danST Engineering keep a large stock of used carburettors and throttle bodies suitable for use on car engines. All carbs and throttle bodies are stripped, cleaned and inspected for mechanical integrity and function. Any required modifications and repairs are carried out before being rebuilt ready for dispatch. All Carburettors are tested on our in-house engine test rig for basic idle, rpm range and AFR readings. Re-spacing work is carried out on throttle bodies where required and all injectors are run on our injector testing unit. We stock a range of ancilliary items to further aid the conversions including ECU's, fuel pumps, regulators, carb jets, throttle cables, fluoro silicone fitting kits, injector plugs and much more. To further compliment our conversions we stock a range of Pipercross Competition Air Filters. We have developed a unique range of air filter baseplates and accessories for the popular PX500 and PX600 filters that allow direct fitment to various popular bike carb and throttle body models.
Throughout the development of our range of throttle body and carb conversions we have experienced a lack of reasonably priced and readily available velocity stacks (trumpets). For this reason we designed and commissioned our own range of lightweight spun aluminium trumpets that we are now able to incorporate into bespoke kits for a variety of applications such as GSXR throttle bodies and the popular Keihin and Mikuni carburettors. We offer various adapter plate solutions for customers looking to upgrade their engine whilst keeping costs down by utilizing their existing inlet and/or exhaust manifolds – in doing so much of the headache associated with an engine swap can be eliminated as electronics, throttle bodies, turbo’s or 4 branch manifolds can all be retained. We have a range of standard adapters however as we have a great deal of inlet and exhaust plate data on file we are often commissioned to design one-off solutions for new engine/manifold combinations. We offer specialist tuning and set-up of our products (both carburettor and throttle body conversions) on our in-house Rolling Road. Equipped with Land and Sea (http://www.dynomitedynamometer.com) Dynomite control and Dynomax software we are able to accurately simulate real world loads and adjust engine parameters accordingly.
