The package consists of the following:
1x TIG welded danST Engineering Aluminium inlet Manifold
1x Set of GSXR1300 Throttle Bodies, (retaining original 240cc injectors, suitable for power outputs in excess of 240bhp!)
1x danST Engineering Fitting Kit (4x Fluoro lined silicone hoses and 8x stainless mikalor clamps) in black
1x 50mm Diameter danST Aluminium Trumpet Kit complete with custom danST clamp ring assemblies (trumpets available in 25/50/90mm lengths, please use drop down to select)
1 x Pipercross PX500 or PX600 filter kit (C502D, C503D, C504D, C602D, C603D or C604D depending on space and trumpet requirements)
4 x Injector Plug Connectors for terminating the injector loom
This kit is ideal for anyone wanting to carry out the popular bike throttle body modification. Bike throttle bodies offer excellent performance, reliability and fuel economy without the pricetag normally associated with TB conversions! These conversions are very popular in both modified and kit car circles as well as Hillclimb and Motorsport applications and provide a low cost, simple power upgrade not to mention a fantastic soundtrack!
The manifold is manufactured from high quality aluminium with a precision Water Jet cut 10mm thick flange and TIG welded 51mm (Outside Dia) runners with a 3mm thick wall. All internal joints are fully ported/ground to ensure a smooth flow.
All danST supplied Throttle Bodies undergo a comprehensive inspection, strip, clean and rebuild process.

Please Note: All of our throttle body kits are made to order and therefore on a 10 working day lead time. This is to allow the manufacture of the manifold and preparation of the throttle bodies.

NOTE! This kit will require an aftermarket ECU to run the injectors and your engine's ignition system.
What Else Will I need?
1) Engine management. Your cars standard ECU will need to be replaced with either a plug and play ECU in the original location (eg Hondata K-Pro etc) or an aftermarket standalone ECU such as the ME221. This will then allow complete mapping and control of the throttle bodies and the engines ignition timing to ensure the performance can be fully optimized during rolling road tuning.
2) Fuel pressure regulator. With the removal of the standard inlet the standard EFI fuel pressure regulator will also be removed. Therefore an aftermarket 'standalone' regulator is the simplest replacement (we can supply a suitable regulator if required).
3) Additional modifications. This kit can be fitted to a standard engine and will see improvements, however as with any modification the greatest results are seen when coupled with other breathing improvements such as a free-flowing exhaust and manifold.
4) Rolling Road tuning - this is essential for any performance induction upgrade to ensure the engine fueling and ignition are fully calibrated for engine safety and full performance.
What power increase can I expect with this kit.
A recent customer car was dyno'd prior to fitting this kit at 204bhp with just a free flowing exhaust fitted. Following fitment of this kit and a K-Pro ECU the car was re-mapped on the same rolling road and produced 240bhp @ 8500rpm.
