This kit is designed to increase the throttle modulation on the carburettors when used in a car application. The supplied cam wheel increases the quadrants diameter at the start of the sweep thus giving greater mechanical advantage and decreasing throttle opening speeds at low throttle positions. The purpose of this is to improve modulation on smaller throttle inputs and give a moderate increase in pedal travel (+20%).

The overall effect of the increased modulation will drastically reduce the 'snappy' throttle opening (often described as 'on-off') that can sometimes be the case with bike carburettors and Bike throttle bodies, depending on the pedal arrangement and cable pull characteristics. Fitting this kit can therefore greatly improve the driving experience where this condition is currently present.

1 x Cable Hanger extension with plain 6.2mm Hanger hole (suits our 90deg bend as found in our linkage and cable kits, or any M6 barrel adjuster)
