The NODIZ Pro GEN-X is a compact and powerful ignition-only ECU for four cylinder engines. Based on the ME100 core, it is a complete redesign of the NODIZ Range. Fully waterproof, and the defacto control ECU for several race series in the UK including BRISCA. Suited to classics and modern carburetor-converted engines, the NODIZ Pro GEN-X does just what it says on the box – No Distributor. Digitally fired coils with the full tuneability of a 3D map.
This is the 1/6GTI & Saxo variant – meaning it has a 4-Pin Mini Timer coil connector and a 3-Pin Mini Timer crank sensor connector all ready to go on the fully terminated harness. It also includes a pre-loaded basemap to you get you up and running within minutes. Simply wire up power and ground connections, plug in the crank sensor and coil pack, and fire it up!
The inbuilt diagnostics LED lets you know if you have a crank sensor or coil pack issue – no need for a laptop for the basics making diagnostics easy – but plug in a laptop and download the free MEITE tuning software for a powerful engine management experience with full tuning options.
The unit features three spare outputs for shift lights, cooling fans, fuel pumps etc, all software configurable.
Add a throttle sensor or MAP sensor to allow full 3D tuning based on load as well as engine speed.

TPS Harness: A 3 Core TPS harness to allow the connection of a 3 Pin throttle position sensor (or MAP sensor) for 3D mapping capability
Sensors: Add either a TPS (throttle position) or MAP (manifold pressure) sensor for load sensing and 3D mapping capability
Data Cable (FTDI): This cable is required to allow a laptop connection for tuning and converts the ECU Serial connection to USB.
Add a Connector Plug: This is the Loom connector for either of the sensor options (3 pin Bosch Junior Timer)

NOTE! The unit will require configuring to the Vauxhall (60-2) trigger settings prior to startup. This will involve connecting with a laptop/PC and changing the trigger pattern from 36-1 (Ford) to 60-2 (Vauxhall/PSA) and adjusting the trigger offset from 90degs (Ford) to 68degs (Vauxhall/PSA). It is also advised that once up and running a traditional timing light is used to double check you are seeing the correct timing at idle - fine tuning of the trigger offset can be done if any variation is found. Details of these procedures are outlined in the manual (available online).
