Mazda MX5 mk3 NC 2.5 Individual Throttle Body Kit 48mm, Eunos danST STARTER PACK
danST Engineering are pleased to be able to offer this complete bolt on kit for the Mazda mk3 NC MX5 2.5 Duratec (swapped) engine. The package consists of the following:
1x TIG welded danST Engineering Aluminium inlet Manifold
1x Set of tapered ZX10R 48mm Throttle Bodies (complete with TPS - see attachments tab for our wiring guide)
1x danST Engineering Fitting Kit (4x Fluoro lined silicone hoses and 8x stainless mikalor clamps) in red, blue or black
1x Heavy Duty 1mm Novus Gasket
CNC Machined danST Aluminium Trumpet Kit
1 x Pipercross PX500 Air Filter and Backplate Kit
1 x danST Engineering Universal Throttle Cable Kit
Options:
MX5 NC Throttle Pedal Kit. Select this if you wish to add the cable throttle pedal conversion kit. Note, this kit includes the parts to modify your pedal, it does not include a replacement pedal unit.
ME360 Upgrade. Select this if you wish to add the ME360 plug-in ECU and patch harness to suit the MX5 NC.
Colour. Colour of the fluoro lined silicone joining hoses.
4 x 550cc Bosch EV14 Injectors. These are a direct replacement for the standard injectors on the Duratec 2.5 and use the same USCAR (EV14) style plugs. We recommend upgrading from the standard 2.5 injectors for anything beyond a standard or mildly tuned 2.5.
This kit is ideal for anyone with a 2.5 swapped Duratec looking to further boost the power and torque output. These conversions are very popular in both modified and kit car circles as well as Hillclimb and Motorsport applications and provide a low cost, simple power upgrade not to mention a fantastic soundtrack! The manifold is manufactured from high quality aluminium with a precision CNC cut 10mm thick flange and TIG welded runners with a 3mm thick wall. All internal joints are fully ported/ground to ensure a smooth flow. The standard Duratec Fuel rail can be retained and thus your fuel system remains unchanged aside from the fitment of larger injectors.
The throttle pedal will require adapting to be cable operation - this is a relatively simple procedure and we can provide details/help on this aspect as required.
ECU modification or replacement will be required, our plug and play ME360 ECU for this car can be seen here). If the ME360 is purchased from ourselves then we can provide an excellent basemap to get you started.
This kit can be run on the stock fuel pump system without modification.

Please Note: All of our throttle body kits are made to order and therefore on a 10 working day lead time. This is to allow the manufacture of the manifold and preparation of the throttle bodies.
