This kit is designed to replace the standard Ford/Mazda oil filter housing and allow oil pipes to be run to a remote filter and/or oil cooler. Suitable for the Ford/Mazda derived 1.8/2.0/2.3/2.5 Duratec HE engine as well as the Ford Ecoboost.  

This is particularly useful in installations where the standard assembly will not fit due to space restrictions - for example, ground clearance in kit cars or front crossmember fouling in FWD installs. The plate is ported on the side and on the underside and comes complete with 2 x 13mm hosetails and 2 x blanking plugs, allowing the installer to configure the pipework to best suit the needs of the application. Additional ports are 1/4" BSP (x1) and 1/8" BSP (x1) for any ancilliary tappings (pressure switches and senders). Blanking plugs are provided should any ports not be used. Sealing to the block is taken care of by 2 x O-ring Seals seated into the back face of the plate.

The Kit contains:

1 x Billet CNC machined aluminium take-off plate

2 x 1/2" BSP 13mm Hosetails

2 x 1/2" BSP Blanking Plugs

1 x 1/8" BSP Blanking Plug

1 x 1/4" BSP Blanking Plug
