The Kit consists of the following:
A set of 4 (2 pairs) of individual throttle bodies
danST DCOE inlet manifold (upswept design) - if 2.5 please specify when ordering to ensure correct fitment
danST inlet manifold gasket
Throttle Linkage & brackets
4 x danST single Piece CNC Trumpets (25mm, 50mm or 90mm length)
Pipercross Competition PX500 or PX600 Air filter and base plate (dependent upon trumpet lengths and space constraints)
Fuel Rail (Optional)
Genuine Bosch Injectors (Optional)
Throttle Position Sensor (Bosch connector)
Everything you will need (aside from engine management) to fit this throttle body kit - please do not confuse pricing with those offering only half a kit. Linkages, injectors, fuel rails, air filters and throttle sensors all add up!
Options:
We offer a multitude of options with our DCOE ITB kits to give the customer complete flexibility when specifying their build. The notes below give a detailed explanation of the drop down and/or tick-box options we offer.
For basic fast road applications on a budget, if already present, the OEM Duratec fuel rail, regulator and injectors can be retained This greatly reduces the cost and complexity of changing fuel lines, injectors and then blanking the cylinder head injector holes. However ITB mounted injectors can give slightly more peak power and do become more advantageous when the engine spec grows (cams, ported head etc).
Injectors: We offer various capacity injector options, all of which are genuine Bosch items. However if using your own injectors these can be negated.
Fuel Rail Type: We offer various fuel rail options. If 'no fuel rail' is specified then it is assumed that you will be using the OEM rail on the cylinder head and bungs will be provided for the throttle body injector holes. Alternatively the standard 2 piece DCOE fuel rail can be supplied with a short length of fuel hose and clamps to join the two. This fuel rail has standard 8mm push on hose fittings at each end, There are no other connections are available on this type of fuel rail. However we also offer an upgrade to our billet single piece fuel rail - this can be supplied with the same 8mm push fit, 6AN fittings or OEM quick connect (See end termination options). IF you are using your OEM fuel rail and injectors, or the two piece standard DCOE fuel rail you do not need to do anything with the end termination options.
Diameter (Internal): Please specify the diameter of the throttle bodies you require. Trumpets and manifold will be sized to match.
Engine Fitment: Please specify the engine type for manifold fitment.
Trumpet Length: Please specify the trumpet length required based on your space requirements. The air filter will be sized accordingly. If in any doubt please contact us and we will be happy to advise based on our experience.
Vehicle Fitment: Due to the huge variation in vehicles that these engines are fitted to please tell us in the notes during checkout any details about your specific project. Whilst we cannot guarantee to have dealt with your specific application it can sometimes help us in determining the best configuration of certain parts.
Our manifold is a TIG welded aluminium construction with precision machined gasket surfaces and fully internally ground to ensure optimum flow and performance.
The manifold includes a single servo connection - these can be blanked off if not required, please advise when ordering.
Technical drawings are available on request and custom lengths and heights can be accommodated, please message us with your requirements.
This item is made to order and therefore on a 10 working day lead time (depending on options selected). If you require any additional vacuum take-offs adding to the manifold or a coolant connection these are easily added - please contact us.
